June 2016 GLSO Article for The Word

Brothers- short and sweet.  I am honored to be chosen as the staff officer for the Cortland Madison district this term and I hope I do not disappoint those that came before me, and those who provide guidance and have put their faith in me .  Congratulations to Scott Cary our new District Deputy; Scott has tremendous organizational and people skills, he is always one step ahead of  the game, which is excellent as I am usually two steps behind.  I am looking forward to working with R.W. Clint Brooks and R.W. Charlie Dellow the next two years as our district A.G.L.s, both have incredible knowledge and are willing to offer advice and get their hands dirty.

Ten  brothers from Cortland Madison  made the trip to Grand lodge,  a great turnout from our District, Everyone had a great time, or at least they did not complain-we were able to see the installation of officers and congratulate our brothers in the new grand line.  When this article comes out we should have eight new Master masons from our district degree on May 14th, and an entered apprentice or two from a 1rst degree at Otselic Valley being held on the 25th.
